Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (CLARA)

Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (CLARA) brings together and coordinates the regional scientific community in the field of cancer to accelerate the progress on cancer research.

The Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (CLARA), an oncology and cancer research cluster, is an initiative launched and funded by public authorities (French National Cancer Institute, regional authorities and the European Regional Development Fund). It is part of the French National Cancer Plans, and its purpose is to foster cancer research in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Since 2003, CLARA has been bringing together academic, clinical and industry stakeholders from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes to advance regional, national and international strategies for cancer. Its goal is twofold: rapid transfer of discoveries to patients and the commercial application of research.
CLARA is under the aegis of the Léa & Napoléon Bullukian Foundation, a Foundation recognized as a public utility.
