INVERS is developing an insect production chain for animal feed in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes with farmers in the Limagne plain.

The originality of the INVERS model lies in a sustainable and circular model centred on the farmer, allowing to rethink the agricultural system and the valorisation of productions as a whole. By using the co-products available in the region and valuing mealworms flour on a local scale, INVERS wants to propose a sustainable protein source, which is a substitute for fishmeal and soymeal, currently used in livestock farming present on the territory.
